Make the Best Out of the Worst

Hi all!

How are you coping with the current situation, boys and girls? Yesterday during a press conference live on TV, the Minister of Education has announced that the PT3 exam for this year is cancelled. How do you feel about that? Are you sad, happy, or relieved? How will you be assessed and how will you be placed in Form 4 classes next year? I am pretty sure those questions popped in your mind as soon as you heard of the news. Well, take heed my fellow students. You don't have to worry about all that. Let the MOE do their work. When the right time comes, there will be an appropriate way of assessment for all of you.

For now, let us do our part by staying at home, practice personal hygiene well, do your homework assigned by your teachers as much as possible, and most importantly, enjoy the moment with your family. In crisis times like this, let's make the best out of the worst.

Below is a short passage. Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow in the comment section below.
Short story with comprehension questions | Reading comprehension ...

Finally,

In your own words, explain how can you help animals, be it in the zoo or stray ones (cats and dogs to be more specific), at crisis time like now.

Looking forward to reading your answers.

Have a great day!

There are many ways we can help animals as a student.

Firstly, we can plan a visit to sanctuaries around our country such as elephant sanctuary in Kuala Gandah, turtle sanctuary in Cherating and orang utan sanctuary in Sarawak while going on a holiday trip with our families. This can help us to show our support to the workers in sanctuaries that are doing their best to help prevent endangered animals from going extinct.

Besides that, we can also spend time to help out in animal shelters by cleaning the facilities and maybe entertaining the shelter animals with self-made pet toys.

Lastly, we can draw posters to help promote the shelter animals that are ready for adoption and put them up around the school, in the hopes that someone is able to provide a forever home for them. :)

We can visit the adoption center to adopt the stray animals or donate food supply to them. We can also foster all kind of animals and take care of them no matter how old they are.

We can adopt stray animals from animal shelters and take care of them. For those who can't adopt animals due to some circumstances they can donate food and money to animal shelters to help the animals and the caretakers. We can also create a online campaign to raise awareness about this issue among the general public. This way more people can help the animals.

Firstly I would bring the stray dogs and cats to the vet to get checked up. Then I would bring them to a comfortable animal shelter that is nearby. I would come to check on these animals once in a while to make sure they are alright. I would also volunteer to help save other strays that are wandering on the streets late at night.

In my opinion, we can help the stray ones by temporarily adopt and take care them at crisis time like now. In the same time, we can find a new owner for them by asking our relatives, friends or promoting them online.

In your own words, explain how can you help animals, be it in the zoo or stray ones (cats and dogs to be more specific), at a crisis time like now.

There are many ways we can help animals during this pandemic. One of which is donating to animal relief funds so that they can provide animals with their basic necessities such as veterinary care, pet food and animal care supplies.

We can also adopt stray animals during this time but this option should only be done if you can provide for the basic necessities for the animal such as pet food, disease shots and much more. If you are not able to provide the necessary care, then you can call you nearest animal shelter and bring it there so it can be properly cared for.

Lastly, we can also create campaigns to raise awareness to the general public about this situation so they too can help.
